Catherine was born an epicurean and spends much of her time experiencing life through travel and food. Raised in Cape Town, she has always made sure that the ocean is only a stones throw away. Living in England and then Ireland she decided to make her home in Auckland, New Zealand, where she met her sailor husband, Alec. The next step seemed only too natural and with previous hospitality experience, she stepped aboard as a sailing yacht chef. Catherine loves experimenting with flavours and working on a yacht enables her to take people on a journey in more ways than one. When she is not in the galley she is living out the phrase, ´curiosity killed the cat.’
After almost 10 years in yachting industry, Laurent has a solid experience of charter, engineering and has developed good seaman skills. His true love for the ocean made him sail to many beautiful places on our planet and discover a lot of amazing spots. He loves watersports and you can trust that he is motivated to make sure you will enjoy the best time on board.
