Stanley Chave
Captain

Nationality: Tahitian

My name is Stanley Chave, I'm the captain of the M/V MISS KULANI. Our adventure started in Tampa, Florida during construction and final delivery to Tahiti in 2010. I have been in the nautical field for the past 30 years in varying fields. I was the captain of big game fishing vessels and fishing remains a passion of mine. In my free time I still love a good fishing trip and this passion has taken me to Cabo San Lucas, Kona, Christmas Island, Panama, The Bahamas and all of the islands of French Polynesia. I have been in the yachting world serving on various vessels up to 100 feet. Being born and raised in French Polynesia, my upbringing and sailing with my grandfather has enriched me and gives our clients a unique experience of our islands. Whether it be fishing, surfing or scuba diving, our islands have everything to offer and I thoroughly enjoy sharing my experience of the beauty of French Polynesia.

Eric Witz
Chef

Born and raised in Strasbourg, I did all my training classes in Alsace, Switzerland, Germany and French Polynesia. Cooking is a real passion for me, I therefore pursued my dream recently with an extensive training at Ecully, LYON with chef Bocuse. My home has been Bora Bora now for the last 15 years and I have been working for various local establishments such as locally renowned Fare Manuia before joining the yachting industry. I enjoy working out at the gym, practicing fitness and extreme sports as soon as the opportunity comes up. I look forward to sharing my passion for cuisine with you during your next stay on Miss Kulani.
