    Motor yacht JAUNI was built in 2004 by Amer yachts, an extension of the well-known Italian Permare group. She was refitted in 2019 and her new inviting interior benefits from lots of natural light. M/Y JAUNI has a sleek planing hull measuring 26.2m (85.9ft) with a beam of 6.12m (20'1") and can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins.

    The yacht boasts a warm welcoming interior, the attention to detail and fittings are evidence of the quality and craftsman ship produced by Amer Yachts. The salon and dining area are an open plan with a very fluid contemporary feel. The lounge in the aft is featuring a plush U shaped sofa and coffee table to port, with a large flat screen TV to starboard. A low island crezenda casually separates the salon and dining, while still retaining the sense of generous space, up to 8 guests can comfortably dine at the formal table. Further forward are the galley and pilot house. 

    Exterior living aboard JAUNI is ample. The aft deck offers a shaded alfresco dining option which can easily be opened to the salon through sliding glass doors, ideal for entertaining. Water enthusiasts will be pleased by the extended swim platform on the transom, making use of the water toys irresistible.

    The yacht has wrap-around decks that allow guests to easily enjoy the double sunpad on the foredeck. There is a well-equipped flybridge with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the scenery, including large sunpads, an alfresco dining option, additional seating and wet bar / service area. And of course her special feature the deck jacuzzi where one can be amazed with the view and enjoy a cocktail and the breathtaking Mediterranean sun sets.

    APA 30%: The APA fee is to cover expenses such as food, beverages, fuel, transfers, marinas (if any). The captain keeps detailed accounts and receipts which are available to see online during your cruise - at the end of the trip the accounts are settled and any amount left is refunded back to you or if you have exceeded your APA accounts are settled at the end of your charter.

    Tax Status: 
    8.80% or 22% Italian VAT applicable (depending on the cruising area).

    Location details: JAUNI is usually based in Castellammare (Naples) from May onwards but always open and flexible for charters in Sicily, starting Milazzo, Catania or Palermo. Castellammare is the perfect embarkation port for cruises in Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Pontine islands. Not far from Rome and Tuscany.

    Giovanni Paternostro

    Nationality: Italian

    Giovanni is 39 years old and has always worked at sea, following his fathers foot steps first and then sailing alone later. Giovanni started to work in the charter industry in 2002, as deckhand in a 22 mt ketch SY owned by his father, cruising the Mediterranean till 2003. In 2004 he started working as deckhand and dive master on a gulet cruising the Red Sea whilst the year later, he moved on to working on another gulet not only as deckhand but also as assistant chef in Sicily. In 2006 he was employed as chef on a 26 mt gulet cruising Naples area, and parallel he also did some skippering on bareboat charter catamarans. Throughout the years, he balanced his time at sea between being the captain and the chef, learning both jobs to perfection and adapting to any kind of situation. He is a great team player, hard-working and highly motivated.  Giovanni is willing to improve his skills and his professionalism to always grow and give his best in life and job. Giovanni has a sunny character and speaks fluent English.

    Chef / Deckhand

    Nationality: Italian

    Antonio, better known as Nino, grew up following his father and big brothers' passion for the sea; in fact after receiving his diploma in Human sciences he turned his career to become a sea professional just like them. After working as deckhand for a while, he understood that his real passion is food and cooking! He loves to study cook books and try new recipes to delight his guests with, and as a Sicilian his dishes are to die for! Before joining JAUNI in 2013, he spent 14 years working for other yachts either as deckhand or later as chef as well gaining extensive experience in cooking, team work and life at sea. Antonio speaks Italian and good English.

    Rossella Brussetto

    Nationality: Italian

    Rossella is 36 years old and is from Palermo. Rossella has a degree in foreign languages. She has gained previous experience as stewardess onboard sailing boats and catamarans. Rossella also worked as interpreter in a one star Michelin restaurant. She is a professional and  happy girl, food and sport lover and always helpful with guests. She speaks English and French as well as Spanish and Portuguese.

    Nationality: Italian

    Paolo is from Palermo. He graduated at the Nautical Institute of Palermo and gained the title of Engineer. Paolo "son of art", as he followed in the footsteps of his father, Captain of pleasure vessels. Despite his young age, Paolo is a skilled, hard-working and experienced deckhand with many talents and is a delightful addition to the crew. He speaks Italian and English fluently.
