CREW PROFILES

Lavonne pairs with her partner Patrick Cassidy, together they seamlessly deliver exquisite charters with an emphasis on active adventure and excellent cuisine. After meeting on a buddy sailing trip to Cuba, they spent a year cruising the Western Caribbean aboard their sailboat and home “Restless Ketch” before finally settling down in Belize where the beautiful turquoise waters offer everything a water enthusiast could want. Lavonne’s love of travel and the sea prompted her to complete the Yachtmaster Offshore and PADI dive instructor licenses so she could combine her work with her passions.

Patrick was born and raised in Georgia where he acquired a love of fishing and canoeing that was easily transferred from freshwater to saltwater (bigger fish there right?). He loves fishing, particularly the catching part, and grilling up dinner. He thrives from living on the sea and meets all her challenges with skill and enthusiasm. Patrick’s love for sailing and the “water life” is infectious.
GUEST REVIEWS
The overall experience from booking to departure was first class! The trip started with John (a Belizean) greeting us at the airport in a black SUV where he told us the history of the country and factoids on our journey to the marina. We were greeted by Captain Casey and first mate (chef extraordinaire) Clodia. They were a great team. Everything went seamless from the time we woke up to our off boat adventures to returning to 5 star breakfast, lunch, and dinners with the best sundowners anyone could experience.
When there are 6 people (including crew) living in tight quarters for 4 nights you can quickly know if you’re going to enjoy your time together. Casey was always accommodating our needs and we truly enjoyed his company. He would host us onshore at the various islands we visited. Clodia ensured our rooms were ready and that we never felt parched with great Belizean beverages.
The islands we visited were spectacular and diving and snorkeling the Belize Barrier Reef was one of the most thriving reefs I’ve ever visited.
Even as we left the trip Cliff and Jessica were there to greet us and ensure that we had the trip of a life time. Then back in the black SUV we went with John to learn more about Belize and we headed to the airport.
I can’t recommend this charter company enough and plan to sail with them the southern itinerary
