Experience life in Costa del Sol, or the Sun Coast, which is in the southern province of Malaga. With a coastal charter itinerary, cruise the Mediterranean Sea and pop into the various ports to explore. Taste the fabulous foods and tapas...and find the nightlife. You can always start your holiday in a house rental for a few days and then head to the port or out to the islands to meet your yacht.
On a luxury crewed yacht charter in the Balearics, you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Palma de Mallorca has an abundance of marinas to begin your charter. Sail around the gorgeous islands of Mallorca, Menorca, and the famous Ibiza. These three islands are diverse in both their natural beauty and lifestyle.
Mallorca, or Majorca, is the largest island of the Balearics. With its stunning, dramatic west coast and cliffs along the south, the beauty will quickly seduce you. The island is a mix of beaches, quiet coves or calas, and quaint towns.
Palma de Mallorca, the island's capital, is a lively city bursting with culture, beauty, and (of course) fabulous tapas. Shop along the promenade and find special offers on lovely trinkets and jewelry. Stroll through the city in the evening and stop in at the different tapas bars… the food and party scene in Palma is spectacular! From the city of Palma de Mallorca, take the historic train, the Ferrocarril de Sóller, to the lovely town of Sóller. After strolling the Plaça Constitució, head down to the coast to for a swim and walk along the promenade.
The tranquil island of Menorca (Minorca), with its capital of Mahon, is a designated UNESCO Biosphere reserve. Wander the island and experience the calm, feel the joy of nature, and relax. Anchor is gorgeous coves and enjoy the peace of this special place.
Or, join the party in Ibiza - also known as, Eivissa! With popular destinations such as Ibiza Town, Santa Eulària des Riu, and Sant Antoni de Portmany, you will always find fun. Famous for the nightlife, dancing, parties, and summer club scene… this is the place to see and be seen.
While these three popular islands are very well-known, go explore the lesser-known islands… you will love what is waiting for you! Spend some time relaxing and taking in the beauty of the gorgeous islands of Formentera, Cabrera, and the uninhabited Dragonera- the last two of which are National Parks. Dive the amazing waters surrounding Ses Bledes islands or visit Santa Eulària for the day.
Ibiza Formentera, which is the smallest island in the Pityusic Island group, is a wonderful place to sail. Visit the dramatic cliffs and stunningly beautiful white sand beaches- hire a moped or bicycle rental to explore the island. Enjoy a sunny day along the rocky shores with crystal clear water at Calo des Mort or enjoy the sands of the tiny peninsula of Trucadors Beach. Whatever you choose, Ibiza Formentera will capture you in its simplicity and calm.
The Canary Islands are an incredible escape! With their closest point just 100 kilometers off of the coast of Morocco, these Atlantic Ocean gems are the ideal location for a luxury yacht charter holiday. Fly into Tenerife or Gran Canaria - or any of the island's many airports, then sail off on an incredible holiday adventure. Enjoy a day at Sotavento Beach in Costa Calma on Fuerteventura or breath in the fresh air at Las Playas National Park on the tiny island of El Hierro. There is much to do, or not do, while cruising these remarkable islands!

What are the best times to travel to the Balearic islands?
The best time for a beach holiday at the Balearics is the summer, from June to mid-September. The water temperature is comfortable enough July to September, although in September, which overall is still a good month (especially in the first half), the first Atlantic disturbances begin to affect the islands. May and June are sunny months, but the sea is still a bit cool, especially in May, when it is actually a bit cold, and sometimes, the air can be a little cold as well.
April and May are suitable months for visiting the islands and their cities, while in summer, it can sometimes be too hot for hiking. In October and November, temperatures are mild, but the days are shorter and the weather can be rainy and windy.
You can visit the Canary Islands throughout the year, since they have a very mild climate. However, in late autumn and in winter, temperatures are spring-like, and some cloudy days can occur, as well as a bit of wind and rain. While northern European tourists often arrive this time of year to escape the Nordic winter, and they find many sunny and pleasant days, the period from May to mid-October will be preferable for a beach holiday, although the sea is still cool in May, and will warm up gradually in the following months.
What to pack on your Yachting Vacations in Balearic islands?
In the summer, for the Northern Atlantic coast, bring light clothing such T-shirts, but also a jacket, a sweatshirt or sweater and a raincoat or umbrella. For Madrid and the plateau, you will also need light clothing as well as a sun hat, a sweatshirt for cool evenings and possibly an umbrella. For Barcelona, the Balearic Islands and the South it is wise to pack light clothes, a sun hat, and a sweatshirt for the evening in June and September (but also in July and August in the Costa de la Luz and in Tarifa).
For the mountains, bring a sweatshirt, a jacket, hiking shoes, sunscreen and sunglasses.
